DEMONSTRATION: PRESERVING SUMMER'S BOUNTY

This month's farm party has a guest chef!  Jane Weaver, of Asheville, North Carolina, will be demonstrating how we can preserve fresh summer veggies through lacto-fermentation.  Fermented foods have numerous health benefits, the process is easy and straightforward, and it requires only things you probably already have in your kitchen.  Stop by to learn about lacto-fermented sauerkraut and other goodies, and take home a sample.

HOW TO FIND US

From the Lawrenceville campus, take 206 North toward Princeton.  After the intersection with Cold Soil Road, you will see the community gardens on your right-hand side.  Turn into the community gardens, and follow the road back and to the left.  If you reach the intersection with Carter Road, you've gone too far.

Happy 4th of July, and we hope to see you on Saturday!
