Starting this week and lasting through the fall, farm share pick-up will take place on Fridays from 3:00pm to 6:00pm instead of Thursdays. Fridays will work better with both Jake's teaching schedule and the days our farm crew is working on the farm. So, from now on this email will arrive on Wednesday afternoon, and you'll have until 9:00pm on Thursday to reserve a share for Friday pick-up. We hope this won't inconvenience anyone -- as always, please get in touch with me if you need to set up an alternative pick-up time. Thanks for your flexibility, and we're looking forward to a delicious fall!

Half Share:

- 2nd quality tomatoes
- Jalapeno peppers
- pick-your-own herbs and flowers -- no limit, but please remember that others will be coming to pick after you!
As the weather finally begins to imply the approach of fall, we have a wonderful summer's-last-hurrah recipe for you all to try out. Corn Chowder Salad combines many of the ingredients you'd use in the familiar soup -- fresh sweet corn, potatoes, sweet peppers, bacon -- in a main-dish salad that is delightfully crunchy and fresh-tasting. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did -- the leftovers make a terrific omelet filling!
